Roya comes from the Arabic word رؤيا, meaning dream.

For us, Roya was exactly that.

After completing our Islamic studies, we began searching for a path that would allow us to build a meaningful career without compromising the principles we had been taught. We wanted to earn an honest living while remaining true to our values, creating something we would be proud to stand behind.

As three sisters, we shared a dream of building a luxury modestwear house that reflected the elegance, quality, and Islamic values we struggled to find ourselves.

So, we created Roya.

Not simply to sell abayas, but to create garments that embody intention from the very beginning. Pieces we would genuinely wear ourselves, designed with modesty, timelessness, and exceptional craftsmanship at their heart.

Today, Alhamdulillah, that dream has grown into a community of over 100,000 women around the world.
